Corey is terrified of the laser sword. He thinks Luke is going to dismember himself with it if he dares use it.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Once Luke trains as a Jedi, he might get that Force ability that lets him reroll a failure. That's pretty useful when you're swinging laser swords around.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"He is playing very cautiously, isn't he? Like he's realized that in a tabletop game, he's in Hardcore mode and there's no Save Scumming.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"#978.
Alas, General, we barely knew ye. Who thinks the "traitor" will be Leia herself?
I dunno if her playing what is essentially the same role in the plot twice in a row is her kind of thing. I can definitely figure her for a Red Herring, though. I figured the "Wow. You don't say." was sarcasm, along the lines of "oh wow, you finally realized that? Get with the program."

Yeah, I translated that as "Thank you Captain Obvious" besides, hadn't she pitched this line of reasoning to him a while ago only to have it rejected?
Trump delenda estCorey's either really pissed, or he's surpassed Annie at roleplaying.
Ladies and gentlemen, prepare for the fanfic crossover
between Darths & Droids and One Piece: Grand Line 3.5. Coming soon to an internet in a galaxy not so far away.
So is Corey particularly susceptible to getting attached to characters, or is the GM particularly good at making NP Cs the players can latch onto? I'm thinking the former, since I think only Sally has ever really cared too much about any of the NPC characters the players have run into.
Either way, this was a cool page.
The DM did a pretty run off-the-mill "NPC to try get players attached".
His default players, Jim and Ben, are experienced murderhobos, they don't get caught in it.
Annie is an actor, she would have acted out the camaraderie, but do not get attached herself.
Sally and Corey are newbies. Sally was totally new and she reacted vividly to everything. Corey meanwhile is more of a videogamer, where "friendly NPC" tactic is used sparingly, so he is susceptible to it.
"Well, get me a scarf!"
And we get an Imperial officer acting like a proper Card-Carrying Villain for once.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"

To be fair he really should have used the laser sword.
You look happy, I can change that if you want.
