Why would becoming a vegetarian make Sally the new Black Sheep? Does their family own a meatpacking plant?

Is Ben implying he's been a vegetarian for longer? Has that come up before and I just forgot?

Ben's the black sheep for not going along with his family's expectations in career.

He was the traditional meat-eater for the group. With him gone, somebody had to take up his spot, so Sally did.

So Pete's mysterious job also includes clients as well as a suit&tie.

That little bit of legalese certainly implies Pete works in the legal profession. (Which, incidentally, also explains why he never mentions his work; legal workers and lawyers have strict rules for confidentiality.)

I've been getting the feeling of late he's a lawyer of some breed. given how fast he made the program for R2's speech earlier I figured he was a programmer of some sort, so he might just have a high position in whatever company he's been working in.

Are there any jobs out there that would combine lawyer and programming skills in the way that fits with what we know about Pete's job?

Patent clerk is a thing. They tend to shell out to dedicated programmers rather than try to cultivate people who know both programming and legalese. However, the vast majority of them successfully go through anyway, even where there's stupidly obvious prior art; that suggests to me that the process as it stands isn't that effective.

There are software patent lawyers who specialize in law around software patents.

Episode 955: "Don't Call Me Stupid"

This isn't the first time it's occured to me that if the idea the Irregulars had to create a fan dub of the films is ever to come to pass, I wonder how they'll deal with some of the continuity issues they've created in their script. For example, here Han blasts the probe droid to bits without warning, but in the film, it shoots at him first.

Just recutting? After all, that would practically be Abridged Series and those edit the footage extensively.

Yeah, the fandub claim kind of fell apart with Episode I when they had all the bad guy scenes shoved to the very end of the movie.

Recutting might solve some of the continuity issues, I suppose.

By careful manipulation of the source footage you could even make it seem like Han shot first.
