For about two minutes before someone mentions that robots can be fixed. This side-story is too light hearted for an actual death.

Heck, even organic constructs can be rebuilt after being torn apart. Punch and Judy in the main story were not only repaired by Gil after Von Pinn ripped them to shreds, he upgraded them by giving Punch the ability to speak and giving them the ability conceive and have children.

Disgusted, but not surprised

It's okay!
I'm semi-fluent in Dragonball choreography!
Humongulous did an overhead smash attack, creating a dust cloud from the gold pile(somehow).
The cloud clears and we discover, (gasp!), that Humongulous has not immediately won, and that Kill-y Kitty has ripped off his leg! (Arm? Codpiece? Something non-vital, anyway)

Will Humongulous survive?
Will Kill-y Kitty be neutered?
Will anyone finally kill that annoying "Monster Hunter"?

Find out next time* on Dragonball Girl Genius Z!

*-events described will likely not be resolved next episode. Production is catching up to the author again. Expect delays, stalling, and at least 2 slice-of-life filler episodes. Thank you for your money patience.

And then she's gonna be all "mwah-hah-hah, mine is an evil laugh" and then Franz comes back with whatever he ran off to get and break her new toy

The Castle Heterodyne demo is on Steam right now for Next Fest. It's... not bad. Game-wise, it's pretty good, actually. Story-wise, they are severely hampered by the game engine, and like 90% of the fun moments from the comic fall flat because the game can't do any weird body actions like Agatha clapping a hand on Moloch's mouth.

What I think they should have done is just used the actual pages from the comic as dynamic cutscenes. You know, reveal the page one panel at a time, maybe with some sound effects or even voice acting. I've seen plenty of comic-style games that make that work. As-is, the story comes off as rather bland and dry. Which is a real shame, because it's a great part of the story.

Lots of books being thrown around today

Let's hope none of them are the rarities that Franz was after.

I went back and looked at the scene in the antechamber, I don't see it anywhere. Maybe it was in the trunk?
