Wasn't expecting a Char Kick. Nice.
but HOW?Interesting how she says she's coming for "Lucrezia" - so is she not herself Lucrezia ? If she was, she should be saying "Agatha", or "my sister" or "my daughter" .... strange. It seems that: original Lucrezia = the older Lucrezia Albia saw; all those ones Albia saw through history = Lucrezia too, if she's to be believed, even though the faces don't match (is it because she fixed herself as time went by?). And those entities also match the description of the "muse of time" from Van Rijn's notebook, which seems to be the creature caught in the glass bulb that Agatha freed. And of course Lucrezia = The Other. And yet this entity, that controls revenants, talks about having killed the likes of Albia, talks as if she *isn't* Lucrezia ? Something is amiss; maybe Lucrezia *is* the impostor. Or maybe after thousands of years and countless self-modifications, she doesn't consider herself the same entity any more - but still wants a fresh warm body with the spark she can copy herself into, and get her spark back.
So if Gil and Tarvek put Mother in a clanklette, will this clank accept it? Or is this not Lucrezia, after all, but one of the spider women? She's the right color . . .
If it moves, eat it. If it doesn't move, kick it—then eat it!Except... we've seen two copies of Lu each refer to each other as separate individuals, and yet still treat each other more specially than they do lesser mortals because they're both Lucrezia (yet they still considered themselves disposable, as there are other copies). And one already was a clank.
Lucrezia is astonishingly narcissistic, whichever form she's in... Or, however many of her there may be in one space. They are all Lucrezia. As long as one can get away, the rest are disposable; each endeavours to be the one getting away if possible, but if any one can't manage that, she tries to go out causing maximum damage to increase the odds that a Lucrezia with info all other Lucrezias crave will definitely make it to pass it along.

Who wants to bet that Violetta has already done something sneaky?
"Give sorrow words; The grief that does not speak knits up the o'er-wrought heart, and bids it break." William Shakespeare - MacbethSo it is more like a case of the Over Lucrezia entity and all the ones below are normal Lucrezias but if the Lucrezia Overmind makes it then they are disposable unless the info is that important. And below the Lucrezias you have the disposable even for Lucrezia standard... better known as everyone else.
Well here goes nothingThat would be a given, not a bet.
If it moves, eat it. If it doesn't move, kick it—then eat it!And I vunder vat Tveetle hass dun to Oggie. Mebbee a time potion dot makes him all Jaegergenerally? Or just makes his horn grow so fast it impales de intruder?
I don't think there's an Uber-Lu. There is a copy-making machine that has a Lucrezia inside it that the rest guard as a top priority. Not because it's "the best Lu" or "the controller Lu" or "the ultimate Lu", but because it's the baseline and backup Lu without which there would be no Lucrezias at all left to survive.
And every single Lucrezia is all about not just survival, but truly living (using an identical definition of what that means — with the same emotional goals and reasoning) with Lucrezia at the centre of everything. Every Lucrezia is in agreement: the most important person in the world is Lucrezia. However they get to survive long enough to live the perfect life, whoever they have to throw under the bus to do it (including doomed other selves).

That's my prediction for Friday: Oggie pops up and makes some typical Jagerish comment to the Lu-Clank, she sneers, he starts pummeling her.

http://www.mansionofe.comI'm not so sure. The impression I got from the prose novels was that there is an active Lu somewhere else, beyond human comprehension. The summoning engine copies from that source, but that version is still off doing her own thing while these copies are running around. Lu has made it clear that she remembers her time away.
I'm pretty sure that if Lu's brain was just sitting on the summoning engine's hard drive, it would have been damaged during all the ham-fisted attempts to repair it.
The hint is in the name: "summoning engine". Frankly, that's the modem, not the hard drive. That which it connects to to get the info... that's the baseline Lu... wherever and whatever she's stored in (or with).
And, there was only one connection-and-imprint device for a long while, Lu-subjective time.

What I was meaning is more around that the general Lucrezia or master copy is akin to the Zerg Overmind. Basically the most important being around the Zerg army. A normal Lucrezia copy is like a Cerebrate and anyone else in that army is a Zergling.
The master copy at this point must have some out of date issues but, and this is a particular instance, might have left something for the new copy to cope with the new info it receives... but still no cake for all the Lucrezia copies.
Well here goes nothingi prefer to think of the overlu as a mindgas
I wrote about a fish turning into the moon. What if the Real Lu is a prisoner of The Other, just as a LuCopy from Agatha is a prisoner of Pinkie? Zola was a Complete Monster even worse than Lu As We Knew Her. Speaking of which, when is Zola going to show up? And did Grandmother know that Zola grabbed a copy of Lu?
Show up in England? Hopefully never. Not that I dislike her as a villain or anything, it's just, there's enough going on plot-wise without her showing up as well.

"You can reply to this Message!"I seem to recall that Jägers are not exactly fond of Lucrezia ...
Nope. It was discussed way back when Agatha was still "Agatha Clay", and aboard Castle Wulfenbach. They merely tolerated Lucrezia because Bill was in love with her. (About to head off to play "family taxi", so no time to look the specific page up.)

Yeah, just her arm being dropped. In the Monday strip we saw a rear view, no insectoid butt attachment.
