So, the Weasel Queen interlude is over. Is this Storm King opera another one?

Maybe my style has always to prefer someone Beneath Suspicion. I'm too used to aristocracy being backstabbing and self-interested to be surprised when they're secretly running something else.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Well here is something that popped on the nogging while literally removing a cobweb from the head, although it is not on the whole "aristocratic spies". If Agatha is going to Africa then it is going to give a good time around before even thinking of what Asia but here is the kicker:
What if the Foglios were planning to make Agatha go to Australia. Real Life land of Everything Is Trying to Kill You and bringing DK ingbot with her... DK's reaction to the Corbetite security setup was onto "I have much to learn". Now picture what DK would do after a season in Australia...

Well here goes nothingFor all we know, Skifandar is in Australia, and she's scheduled to go there as well. (Tho I'm still mostly inclined to believe it's on Mars..)
The Mansion of EConsidering the lethality of some of the other stuff including the weather DK would just ask Agatha for another season while Agatha and co will have a face of "no hell no".
Also what are the chances of meeting the local kangaroos with missile packs?
Well here goes nothingI need to read some of the Barsoom stories -Project Gutenberg has them. Some of the monsters look like they'd give a Tasmanian Devil pause -before the fuzz ball ate the monster anyway.
(But not that Elvis/Barsoom crossover fanfic someone got paid for writing. Ugh.)
Back on topic, Skifander has some nasty monsters, Mars or not -Zeetha's mother had to learn to delegate killing them.

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry Pratchettwait what run that by me again
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NOLast panel: Ahl righty then.
Elvis/Barsoom: from Literature.Alien Pregnant By Elvis. A 1994 book that was the result of Esther Friesner sending out a call for sci-fi authors to out-tabloid the tabloids. Too much JFK, but decent brain junk food. The Barsoom one, though, is serious Mary Sue tripe written in the first person from Elvis' perspective.
And what is it with Elvis-in-hiding always having black hair? He was naturally blond!
Back sorta on topic, Sparks would be all over the turning-into-animal people thing.
BTW, is that guy saying he's a Spark, or just really close?
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettGiven he mentioned all the short hands and stuff and that for hiding info from others it also means that Brunel here has been dealing with several types of shorthand and stuff. So the engine in the Library can be one thing that can and will be asked, or that Agatha saved a lot of his time with the Weaselgraph.
Even if Brunel is a Spark capable of dealing with other Sparks codes (a mad cryptographer), they get as much use as mad social scientists. But in a place like England with a very clear and stable "Alpha" Spark like Albia then the minor Sparks have just learned how to behave.
And yeah you can say I took Mittlemind a couple o times.
Well here goes nothing![]()

Gil extracted Othar from the time-bubble. The last we heard of him, he was giving a Rousing Speech in the Mechanicsburg workshops.
With the added bonus that, as far as Gil is concerned, he's completely expendable.

The Mansion of ETo be fair they started with Vole because that way they had knowledge with someone whom could survive but Othar was a casualty and for a small time fanservice. Not to mention that several people working under Gil were fans of Othar.
Gil and most of the Sparks of the setting would have wanted to leave Othar frozen in time for a longer time... which I am guessing was the other reason why several people were willing to work with Gil in the Empire to be sure to be on the side that has the sealed Othar in a can.
Well here goes nothingBackstory.
That England is still in the process of sinking is an interesting twist.

If he's English, he must be working for Albia, right? As in, any other choice is unthinkable?
I'm done trying to sound smart. "Clear" is the new smart.
