So, the Weasel Queen interlude is over. Is this Storm King opera another one?

So, is the hidden general going to become GG's equivalent of the Time Lord?

All your safe space are belong to Trumphippogrif thanks for writing the authors about Ginger. Tarvek is not really complete without. They were a team. Plus Ginger made Tarvek's inner state that much more readable.
Lately I am thinking about people who haven't met each other. The meetings that portend plot points. We have:
- Gil and Lu-in-Agatha or Anevka.
- Bang and Zeetha
- Otilia and The Assistant
- Zola and the Abbess. They share a curl style.
We also haven't seen Carson lately, though I imagine the castle is making use of him and the holes in his head.
Klaus hasn't answered Gil's questions. Zeetha probably has some of him as well. Like where is Skifander? And how do you get there?
We have lost track of the Heterodyne device. The castle is keeping Hristo's wristwatch for Agatha. There is a quaint ceremony to be performed in the Red Cathedral. And a world outside of the walls of Mechanicsburg to explore. Gonna need a lot of pages to tell all that.
Oh yeah. Is the message carrying canon ball dingbot still a brick joke? Pages, pages, pages.
Edited because a whole sentence got left out

Levity is what keeps airships afloat. Everything else is just ballast.
This
is one of my most favorite Ginger-Weasel as Tarvek Emotive Guage pages. Slinking about warily in the first frame, fish-eye suspicious in the fifth frame, on the alert in the other frames. There are other superb examples, but that entirely skeptical look Ginger gives Jorgi is just priceless.
1 Weasel-covered Tarvek is my absolutely favorite flavor. Add me to the squee pile hoping for more.
2 I think Agatha is wise not to leave the statue designing to DK. I think this: http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20080820
is it's idea of a pretty dress on her.
3 I suppose it is too soon to ship Assistant and Boris (especially since she's hanging out with Vanomonde so much) but I like it.

Oh, I don't ship Boris and Assistant (though it's a nice alternative). I think she and Van are quite probably fated at this point. But I would not be at all surprised to learn that Boris was at least at one time a candidate for the "Secret Silent Librarians". He and she feel much akin.
Yes. Der K is NOT my first choice of sculptor or wardrobe master. Just not.
I love Tarvek covered in weaslies, too. <grin> So hard not to adore his scowl while watching him not remove them. He's such a marshmallow.
Mostly Harmless.
And Zeetha, Violetta, and Sliepnir approve it. Those three are likely between them to keep Tarvek from any really disturbing boy-crush excesses or ventures into radical fashionista extremes.
At the moment I think the boy would be so dazzled by her entrance and her leap into his arms that he'd be likely to sculpt her as a Winged Victory (with zappy stick) in a dolled up version of just what she's wearing, poised on a reproduction of her "flying bathtup with angelic torchmen/dingbot cherubim"

Mostly Harmless.Heh DK bringing a dress that would make Zola happy... all that pink...
Well I could say that outside the Duke of Dook the weasels say Eeee
.
Edit: A Tarvek with his weasel suit... not a bad idea to pencil.

Well here goes nothing
Yes. This is why I gave Agatha an approval board, rather than a single overseer. I figured between them good sense and moderation might prevail, while still ensuring some nifty armorial touches and a bit of classy weaponry. After all, it's not like Tarvek fails to appreciate the aesthetic. "Green with nicer curves."
(Amused) He's got more than enough competition for Agatha's love already. I think he'd be very careful about just HOW he advertised her charms. Now...for a private statue? Another matter entirely. ![]()

One is actually a bit startled at the potential Tarvek might show for private sculpture and illustration. He seems the sort to combine the exotic, the practically do-able, and the aesthetically alluring all in one rather stunning combo.

Mostly Harmless.Well we got a few fashionistas, Tarvek being the top boy but we have DK with the dress in its flashback and Zeetha with the warrior princess/queen approach. Violetta will go for pockets and Franz will go for something golden.
Edit: Who would want to see Tarvek in a full Duke of Dook costume?

Well here goes nothingWell, yes. Or...without a costume. Either way. Either way...

It will be interesting to see what happens between Agatha and Tarvek as a result of her encounter with Gil. So many legitimate ways it could go even without turning to the "conniving Tarvek" considerations. Among other things, in certain ways this reprises Gil betraying Tarvek. Yes, this time Gil wanted to claim Agatha and drag her to Castle Wulfenbach, not reject her and throw her off. But the underlying element is in both cases Gil appears to have been turned into a mouthpiece for Klaus' feelings and beliefs.
(shudder) OMG. I do hope this is only the first time Klaus has forced his own way of thinking on Gil. If he did that to a little boy....
Gads. Even counting out sparky methods, he DID force it on a little boy, even if it was his most sincere belief.
Anyway, this should set bells off for Tarvek, but it will be interesting to see how he puts it together. We know already he can reason that Gil's been affected by Klaus' reasoning. Will he think Gil's been conned again, or mind-controlled, or brain cored, or wasped? All are options, and if he decides it sounds most like Gil was conned, is he going to simply feel anger and affront that Gil's turned his back on Agatha's competence and right to self-determination, or is he going to blame Klaus, or what?
Will he tell Agatha about the wasps? About his serum? And what has he alreayd passed on?
Sigh. I do hope they eventually TELL us some of this. I find the things that happen off stage a bit annoying sometimes.

Mostly Harmless.Well that is it! I got the concept and now it is just the mood to draw... Easter holidays and I'm only with a change of schedule but same old bust the skin routine. I'll start Tarvek in the weasel suit and some weaselings between class preparations.
Well here goes nothingWeasel and cowbell! They Fight Crime!!
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.

Oh yes, of course it would be more fun in the story; but if that's not in the cards a wallpaper would be a nice consolation prize.
Probably she's not the General, but if she is I get to claim some Moxana points. I do not believe the General is Higgs, and I don't have any other candidates for the position. Until I find one I like better, I'm going with her.
