Or, perhaps it's like, if he's the Doc, he can ninja his way back down the kite in time.

I have a message from another time...

How well does Doc know the tunnels? I mean, if he has to cut the line and hang-glide around to the entrance, does being Doc mean he'll find them while not being Doc means he'll wander off and die?

This is kinda like shooting John Connor in the head to make sure he isn't a Terminator.

Aren't those the same tunnels he chased Radical through? And Sparklelord rode? And time travelled? These caves are popping up a lot...

Yes, those tunnels are something special.

Well if he's not the Doc, in their eyes it's not like he can be some innocent.

True. He's either going to survive this or he's a bad guy who deserves an embarrassing death.

Aaand... he not only survives but shows off to his brother in doing so.

Well, if nothing else I'm sure that DSP is convinced that Doc is his real brother: only he could be so skillful yet at the same time dickish.

Cute. Very cute. Although the page does serve to point out the Idiot Ball that got hurled at Gordito and DSP for not realizing that their friends would misinterpret the apparent arrival of a pterodactyl.

By the way, considering that they're now in the same place as King Rad's time portal, I'll offer any bet you care to name that it will have something to do with fixing this little problem.

Given that the solution to such a test might well involve the completely unnecessary deaths of their revolutionary comrades, that would represent yet another form of the same Idiot Ball.

I would think Dr.Mc Ninja would know not to kill them. He'd probably just show off as he disables their catapults.

Have you read all of the chapters? [lol] This is the Doc who killed a completely innocent security guard to steal the remedy for Paul Bunyan's disease.

Depends on whether you think they didn't consider it or just didn't give a fuck. There's nobody in this comic who isn't at least a partial jackass by this point.

Except maybe the Gorilla. Though I vaguely remember her doing something dickish at some point.

Judy was mean to Ben Franklin II, leading to one of the best Getting Crap Past the Radar gags the comic has to date.

The killing a security guard can probably be attributed to early installment weirdness or some such thing.
