[up]It was a Patreon thing, if I am not mistaken. If you don't know what Patreon is, it is basically kickstarter but on going, instead of having a definite goal. The logic is not to kickstart a project, but to finance an artist so they can continue to do their work.

I forget, do all students in house whatsit have powers?
We don't know for sure that everyone has powers, but we can make some inferences. Foley house is all Gillitie emigrants, and it looks like they're all naturals at astral projection as a result. Chester house appears to be students whose nature and/or powers prevent them from blending in to normal society. Zimmy and Gamma are there—and Surma and Anja were placed there for their first year, before getting transferred to Queslett. All the students who haven't shown any powers yet are in Queslett or Thornhill (we've barely met any Thornhill students—Parley is the only one I can think of). Maybe these students actually don't have any powers, or maybe they just haven't had an opportunity to show them off. In any case, Queslett and Thorhill seem to be the houses for students who are normal, and for ones who can pass for normal.

Well, Jack was introduced in the comic as someone who snuck out and around the Court. His later appearance pre- and post-Spider mostly reinforced that attribute.

No surprise he did so here.

Yeah — even when unhinged and spider-thing-controlled, he wasn't at all dim. Also, what he doesn't know about basic Court tech isn't worth knowing. I'm wondering just how he's going to use his Houdini skills in this arc...

Yes more Jack I like Jack. Perhaps his worry at Zimmy being on the boat was due to foreseeing something like this and not just crazy jealousy. I hope so anyway, I like his goth girlfriend.

Guys, I made up a game! It's called "How many flaws can you find in the robots' plan?"

So far I'm up to 14. :3 I hope to see all these flaws exploited or mended soon. 8D

Clearly he should put in a cockroach to serve as a guidance system, complete with roach-sized flightsuit and helmet. As backup for the seeking spell.

Okay, who to pick, who to pick... Well Parley can shift a whole team (at least, herself plus 4 others, including Jones. Up it to 5 more and you have the whole gang aboard more-or-less.

Come to think of it, does Annie have her replacement beacon about her? That would get Eglamore there pretty quick.

I highly doubt she's carrying it right now, and it's still not very likely she has it in her luggage at all. She isn't paranoid like that. Heck, she may have just left it in her "official visiting the forest" suit's pocket.

Reynard isn't bad at tricks, as such... Bad at reining back his tricks, sure. Papa Wolf may not be the best choice, if he's not actually aboard. <_<

Kat's parents? (Yeah, I know it goes counter Annie's "adults are morons" philosophy, but, still: she seems to be slowly easing up on that one.)

Anja was the first person I thought of, to get the word about. She's a powerful magic user and intimately connected to Annie's blinker stone.

Actually the first person I thought of was Jones, because Jones, but she's not actually a magic user.

Why is she addressing Annie as "my love"? And it's clearly Annie not Jack because she's answering Annie's question. I wonder if this is what she and Jack were arguing about earlier?

I just sort of assumed it's because they're British and she's friendly. Then again I assumed that because of my ignorance of British etiquette so take it with a grain of salt

It's just a British-y term of endearment. Doesn't really have any romantic connotation.

Isn't that usually just "love" without the "my"? Still that would explain Annie's lack of reaction.
