Konata appeared in one of my dreams last night. It really says a lot about Pop-Cultural Osmosis when a series that I've only read about in online reviews becomes a part of my subconsious mind.

That's the reason I like them. I also, however, like them as individual characters.

Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.Lucky Star was one of those shows where I liked almost every character.
At first the only one I didn't think much of was Miyuki, she didn't stand out much in my mind, even compared to Ayano. But I felt she stands out better when you don't have to measure her up against too many others. She gets plenty of fun scenes on her own, its just when you put her in a group that the spotlight shines greater on others.
..oh god, the Lucky Star dream.
I came on this thread for completely unrelated reasons, only to be reminded of that. It's right up there with that Snakes On A Plane dream with Dragonball Z characters in it for no reason.
Anyway, as for the unrelated reasons: I just realized that there were actually some characters in the manga that didn't make it into the anime. Wasn't there something about a closeted otaku school council girl?
~PirkaOh man, just started watching this last week, got hooked on it, and now I'm up to episode 21 and haven't done any school work at all! I really like how many Haruhi references are in this anime, one of my friends was telling me about how the series is like a huge advertisement for HS, especially episode 16.
Also is it just me or does english Kanata sound like Jennifer Tilly?
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.I once saw a line-by-line analysis that made the case that it was about them losing their virginities, but have unfortunately lost the link.
The Philosopher-King ParadoxPlease, here's a crack theory.
They're all dead and the world of Lucky Star is Hell for all of them. Well, except for Konata, Hiyori, Patty, and that other otaku from the manga who didn't appear in the anime adaption.
NO TREE FOR ME (ALSO LOVES HER BOYFRIEND)

Its not like they don't have plenty of source materiel to use for a new season.
