Does coffee even exist in the Avatar verse?
We actually see Ozai sipping tea during the Day of the Black Sun.
My headcanon is that Ozai actually loves tea just as much as Iroh, but he doesn't really like to admit it. It might be one of the few things besides Firebending prowess that the brothers have in common.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI dunno if it exists. It'd just be a bit funny if he had that preference. Maybe that's what led to their first falling out.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAccording to supplemental materials, their first falling out might have been Iroh beating Ozai at Pai Sho. Ozai was very much a Sore Loser who would literally flip the board in a fit of rage when he lost.

Disgusted, but not surprisedJudging from the tone, it seems Iroh had a virtual victory monopoly over Ozai on Pai Sho, which contributed to the theme that Ozai is almost always second-best to his brother, and he resented that.
It foreshadowed just how childish Ozai's big endgame strategy was. Always solving your complicated problems and potential defeats just by burning it all down. Nevermind the problems of ruling a world of ashes.

Avatar: The Last Airbender cast worries Netflix remake will be “redundant”
Call me crazy but I can't help but think a Netflix adaptation of Danny Phantom would be a much more ideal than ATLA. And probably a lot less expensive production-wise.
I get that Avatar is more popular by a very wide margin, but DP has a pretty devoted fanbase that would gladly show up for a reboot—especially if it's actually good.

It would run into the same difficulty of adapting a cartoon into live action and it would be just as expensive production wise

Urban fantasy doesn’t require nearly as elaborate sets. It’s why that makes more sense than say...YuYu Hakusho (which Netflix is also doing).
Wait...what? *sighs*

I think the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is a pretty good example of what a DP reboot would look like production-wise. Avatar is pretty hard fantasy and the locations would take a lot of work. Bending is probably the biggest obstacle outside of casting, though.

Youd Only need a few scences in the ghost zone honestly. The rest could be done with costuming and some cgi in the real world shall we say.
Easier to do then say having to go out and build sets like here.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."

I've seen that idea used in fanfiction to contrast him even further to Iroh.
