Why would a docatcher catch lemurs?
Anyway. My personal littlebit of Getting Crap Past the Radar is in "Nightmares and Daydreams". Zuko visits Mai. He dismisses his attendants, we get to see them lounge around at the evening... Then flash-forward to the morning. Zuko is *still* there (and mind, his own house was JUST ACROSS THE STREET) and they're eating breakfast...
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntAnd his hair is down when it wasn't in the last scene.
People are mirrors. If you smile, a smile will be reflected.I think that last one would make for an adorably awkward twist on a Their First Time Fan Fic. They don't know what they're doing, but they give it their best shot, and it's clumsy and embarrassing and nowhere near as much fun as they'd been led to believe, so they decide to quit while they're ahead and cuddle instead. Because they're in love, not just juvenile lust, and won't let something like a bad first time ruin the relationship.
I personally assumed that Sokka and Suki didn't have sex during The Southern Raiders, on account of fear of interruption after Zuko walked in on Sokka
But that they were probably at it like rabbits after the finale.
I don't read fanfiction as a general rule, but I want to believe that somewhere out there, there is a fic where Sokka's dad gives him a talk on using protection.
...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.

Since Hakoda apparently shares his son's inventiveness, I wouldn't be too surprised if he was the one who invented protection *.
And that, being an overprotective dad, it was the first thing he did upon hearing he had a daughter. Probably sat on the porch of his igloo with a shotgun boomerang a lot, too.

Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count DorkuMaybe this was said somewhere else in this thread, I don't know since I haven't read through it all, but does anyone know where I can go for free, full-length episodes of Avatar? I used to watch the show a couple of years back, but I didn't have cable/satellite, and had to watch it at a friend's house, and when he decided he was "too old" for it, I couldn't watch it anymore. I'd like to see what I've missed.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."I want to share something with you all. This
is actually the last entry in the series, but links to the other installments are at the top, so you can read the whole thing from this one handy location!
What it is, is a review/summary of Avatar from a feminist perspective, with other liberal activist observations included as they arise. As a radical feminist Avatard, it makes my heart very happy. I love the reviewer's use of the phrase "kids might learn something real from this."
EDIT: Fixed link. (Lousy Ctrl-C not taking, and me not noticing...)

You know, I've seen TV Tropes style language and potholes in more and more places on the net. It's kind of cool.

@Karalora: I read that whole thing. Some great writing, and the part where she compared Toph to a mini-Starbuck made me laugh my head off,not least because the thought of her "running some people into the ground" is,well,Toph
. Older!Starbuck!Toph fanfic in 3... 2... 1...
EDIT: It's also making me see the show in a whole new light. Thanks for linking it!
EDIT EDIT: Ooh,it also referenced Team Mom and Getting Crap Past the Radar.

Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.It really does. Honestly, I wasn't impressed at all for the first, I don't know, six episodes or so. It really grows from there; by the end it was definitely my favorite Western cartoon, hands down.

Did anyone else notice in Tales of Ba Sing Sae how there was a dog catcher who caught Momo and tried to sell him and some cat-somethings to a restaurant?
