Meh, it reminded me more of Spumco, actually.
So, Naruto as a Diclonious (With the actual powers and not just the horns and actually having hair, like the female ones). Yay or Nay?
Vectors infused with Bijuu chakra. Brrrrrrrr

You forget one thing; the Japanese are weird. Their O Ps can be serious one minute, then a complete gag the next.

"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."
Naruto has a pretty good track record of not-doing that.I think this is like the 2nd or third time an OP's been this strange.
In my view an Op is like a trailer for the season or show. If this was Gin Tama I wouldn't be surprised but not even they've gone that bizarre, at least not in OP.

I agree with you actually. O Ps should reflect the tone of their series.
I like how the opening seems slightly serious, up until the first leaping ninja. Then it gets random, but then it's serious/badass (triple hand seals!) for just long enough for you to think "maybe that was just an odd moment". Then ninja dance-off.
As funny as Sai, Shikamaru and the Sand were, I'd have loved to see Shino dancing.
@Cru: I just realized why you should love this opening. It's the first to not have Sasuke in it at all.

GUNDAMU GUNDAMUI think you guys are missing the point of this opening.
This may be just my opinion, but Naruto (at least, during the ninja war arc) is getting really stupid. Notice how Naruto now does every fight, while everyone's plan in the war is "Wait for Naruto to come and help us"? Notice how Kabuto made an entire zombie army with fucking Rinnegans and Shraingans? Notice how the last battle will be between two incredibly overpowered ninja, a battle prophesied by identical ancestry and destined to occur (even though an entire battle in the original series was about not blindly obeying destiny)?
This opening is just trolling us explicitly now.

The animation was terrible and disjointed. Pain's motion especially.
I figured there probably wasn't more like that, but I just didn't want to watch any more. Though I forgot to mention I did binge on the kage summit and danzo fight.
This new opening was well animated, and hilarious.
