  • Harsher in Hindsight: In "Fraudlein" (which came out in 2018), a woman at the Frankfurt Book Festival comments on Liza looking older for a millennial and that she should use better skincare. The New '20s later brought a trend of Gen Zs, even younger than Millennials, already worrying about their skin in their teens and 20s and thinking they're aging faster than previous generations.
  • Narm: A crane randomly dropping its load of steel on Thad in the middle of the city, so Liza's secret is safe for a little longer. The sheer timing makes one laugh, as it just looks like that thing killed him on purpose.
  • Retroactive Recognition: Clare became Daphne Bridgerton.
