  • Alas, Poor Scrappy: Has kind of become a Running Gag with WrestleCrap Radio's TNA Correspondents (always just sound effects or Blade/RD doing a fake voice) who are introduced, annoy RD, Blade, and the fans to no end, and then are mourned and missed when they're killed off, even Nathaniel.
  • And You Thought It Would Fail:
    • RD trashed The New Day in the "Brass Rings" induction; it's easy to see why, because in 2014 the act had just started and was still in its Designated Hero "black preacher" phase, but it's funny to look back considering the decade of success that has followed.
    • In a similar case, the "NXT 2.0" induction trashes acts such as Trick Williams, Tiffany Stratton, and Andre Chase and Tony D'Angelo and their respective Power Stables (Chase U and the D'Angelo Family), who proved to be popular enough well after the NXT 2.0 branding was scrapped. While on paper it's easy to see why given the one-dimensional characterization they were given on NXT 2.0, it's funny to look back considering the success they would have even after NXT reverted back to a presentation similar to its celebrated "Black and Gold" era. It even went to the point that it was decided to expel the entire NXT 2.0 entry from WWE's Horrible page on this very wiki.
  • Bizarro Episode: The April Fools' episodes. One was a faux "first episode", one was nothing but dreams among others and they do get referenced later on from time to time.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Happens a lot on WrestleCrap Radio, starting with Blade "Breakstown's" Bill Collector nemesis John Thomas in the early years. Later characters, such as Gay Popeye, Mike Check, Angry Jim Ross and Don........Don Mason, were even more popular, despite the fact that the first three were just Blade and/or RD doing a silly fake voice and the last is a friend of Blade about whom Blade spins tales.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: Reading through the Archives, whenever Ashley Massaro is brought up, their treatment of her is very harsh (even including transphobic references, which doesn't make sense even in context). It would be uncomfortable if applied to anyone else, but it's downright horrifying when Ashley is the target, given her suicide in 2019. It becomes even harsher given the news that broke after her death about WWE covering up a rape case during a military tour. Not helping matters is the fact that her nonexistent in-ring ability - a frequent target of scorn - wasn't her fault (she was enthusiastic about learning to wrestle, but WWE just didn't train her beyond the two moves she would need to do that night).
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: In the Gooker Award induction for the 2013 winner, Heel Dixie Carter, RD wonders when the next time that TNA won't win a Gooker will be. Ten years since that induction, TNA has gone on to net a total of 0 out of 12 inductions, with 9 going to WWE, one going to Jim Crockett Promotions (Ric Flair's Last Match), one to NWA (James Mitchell snorting coke at Samhain) and even two going to AEW (CM Punk's tenure being involved in some way, the first one co-winning alongside the Samhain fiasco).
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • Almost all of the (forced) wrestling memes were born on their message board (Lex Luger, Dennis Stamp, etc.)
    • Basically, their message board is one of the pro wrestling equivalents of 4chan, the other one being 420chan's /wooo/. Batista was (and likely still is) their Photoshop poster child.
  • Replacement Scrappy: To some, Triple Kelly for RD. And then RD for Triple Kelly when she quit. And then Art0Donnel when he stepped up. Basically, whenever someone new takes over as main writer, a portion of the WrestleCrap fandom whines that the old induction writer was much better and that the new one sucks.
  • The Scrappy:
    • The dragon to RD's Don Quixote, Todd Pettingill, was the root motivation behind launching WrestleCrap.
    • Many of the TNA Impact! correspondents, particularly Nathaniel.
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Some fans never got over Triple Kelly replacing RD as the main induction writer.
