- Fridge Logic:
- How is Fix-It Felix able to use his magic hammer as a weapon to kill Cy-Bugs when, in the movie, it's shown that it can only be used to fix things?
- The movie establishes that Game Characters can infinitely respawn but will stay dead forever if they die outside their own game. How can Felix and Ralph have extra lives in the Hero's Duty and Sugar Rush world?
- Funny Moments: This scene:Felix: Oh my land! Look what these horrible bugs did to your home!
Ralph: Actually they haven't touched this. - It's Easy, So It Sucks!: A common criticism of the game is that its difficulty is severely lacking. Not only does the game hand you out extra lives like they're lollipops (to the point where dying becomes a non-issue), the levels also offer very little challenge. This also extends to the bosses, who can all be taken down very easily before they even get the chance to significantly harm you.
- It's Short, So It Sucks!: The game is only about an hour and a half long, which is shorter than the length of the movie it's based on.
- Memetic Mutation: Awkward moment when a game developer blows the entire budget on the opening cutscene Explanation
- Narm: Due to the in-game cutscenes just using 3D renders of the in-game models (which don't look that pretty to begin with) with speech bubbles over a background, it makes the game's story really hard to take seriously.
- The Problem with Licensed Games: The game is generally agreed to be a bad adaptation of the movie, due to its poor in-game graphics, boring gameplay, and short length. Ironic, considering the movie it's based on is largely considered an aversion to Video Game Movies Suck.
- Special Effect Failure: When Ralph is pushing boxes, a couple sweat droplets are animated to come out of his hair. Only problem is that for some odd reason, the sprites for the droplets still have their black background included, thus making it look very jarring.
- Visual Effects of Awesome: While the rest of the game looks primitive for the console it's on, the two pre-rendered cutscenes played in the beginning and end of the game are generally agreed as looking almost on par with movie the game is based on.
