- Scrappy Mechanic: The game's save system is one of its most criticized aspects, because unlike the 90's FPS games Wrath is paying tribute to, the player faces Save-Game Limits. Instead of the traditional "anywhere, any time" save system from Quake I and its derivatives, Wrath comes with set checkpoint shrines that also heals the player, as well as limited save crystals that allows the player one quicksave per token. Many players find the limited save system confusing and does not fit the fast-paced gameplay of a throwback FPS.
