- Awesome Music: Frank Wildhorn's score is undoubtedly the most praised aspect of the show — nearly every song is an absolute showstopper. Some notable highlights include:
- "One Knight", Jack and his knight crew's boy band-inspired love ballad. It never fails to get a huge laugh or thunderous applause.
- "Go with the Flow", El Gato's big number, is an authentic Latin rock song inspired by the likes of Santana. This is also the first time in the show where Alice finally lets loose, leading to some really fun choreography.
- As with every Wildhorn production, the Villain Songs are top notch. The Mad Hatter leaves a great first impression with her brassy intro song in Act I, then brings the house down in Act II with her big powerhouse solo, "I Will Prevail". After listening to either of these songs, you'll almost want to root for the Hatter instead.
- Cult Classic: The original production received mixed-to-negative reviews and lasted only one month on Broadway, but it has since garnered a cult of fans who still appreciate it for its wonderful music. The Mad Hatter's solos have become especially popular selections amongst vocalists.
- Fridge Brilliance: Why are all the Wonderland characters just humans in modern day dress? Why is the rabbit hole a service elevator? Because the entire story is the dream of a grown woman living in modern New York City; there's no doubt that reality had a hand in crafting the world of Wonderland through her eyes. This is enforced by the show's use of And You Were There, with Alice imagining her husband and mother-in-law as the White Knight and Queen of Hearts, respectively.
- Retroactive Recognition: Carly Rose Sonenclar was featured in the Broadway cast, just one year before The X Factor put her on the map.
