- Crosses the Line Twice: In the Vampire ending, Verand will mention a time where she gradually hunted more and more people down to the point where she butchered an entire family. Awful? Absolutely. Her framing it as a motivational speech to a fledgling vampire Cyrano to encourage her killing sprees, capping it off with the transformed daughter of the family eating her out as she slaughtered the rest? Black Comedy at its finest.
- Tear Jerker: For the most part, the bad ends detail the newly monsterized party's integration into Verand's army. Even as brainwashed minions of an evil empress, these vignettes maintain a lighthearted tone with the absolute worst cases kept offscreen or for dark laughs as everyone happily serves under her. This is not the case with Clementine's ending. Clementine and a demon-turned Izana come to genuinely fall in love with each other, but Clementine's disillusionment with Verand, and Izana's curse from the latter making her irrevocably loyal means that the two ultimately part on bitter terms. The narration concludes on a somber note, with Izana remaining a thrall of Verand, but a deeply heartbroken one.
