Alas, Poor Scrappy: Even those who do not like Felicity Smoak were moved by her final letter to Team Arrow and Team Flash where she says goodbye to them and accepts her fate.
Anti-Climax Boss: Static Shock and Black Lightning have an encounter with Wardog.....which ends in barely a few seconds. The two even agree that this was anti-climactic.
Ascended Fanon: A WMG for the fic mentioned that the PTB Adila used to be a Slayer. Chapter 9 of Champions & Wars made it canon.
Seeing Amanda Waller getting one-upped by Oliver, Hunt and the Leverage crew is quite satisfying, as they manage to trick her and steal her personal files and make her back off from Eliot, with Oliver even punching her out, which is especially cathartic considering what she'd put him through before. And while Waller is fuming and making revenge plans, she gets killed brutally by Talia al Ghul.
Oliver, Hunt and the Leverage crew expose and take down Senator Joseph Cray as well as Agent Smith, the former having a very satisfying Villainous Breakdown when the truth about him (mixed with one lie) comes out, alongside the Cray Cray song of all things playing at his press conference to humiliate him even more. This also clears Floyd Lawton's name, revealing to the world that he died a hero.
Iris West getting slapped by both Lois and Lana, and then getting told off by them both and Cisco is quite satisfying after seeing just how delusional she is being in her mind when Barry and Patty become a permanent couple, not to mention caring more about herself and even whining during a time when children's lives are in danger.
Wally West giving “The Reason You Suck” Speech to the Earth-1 versions of Nick Connor, Kevin and Ray for their bullying of Jimmy, which made Jimmy resort to such desperate measures. Wally also punches Nick and shoves his cronies against the wall, scaring them with just a look. Its later mentioned the three got sent to a juvie in Star City.
Castiel ends up giving a brutal No-Holds-Barred Beatdown to Chuck Shurley after the truth about the latter is finally revealed to all.
The Power That Be by the name of Dushan is a complete Hate Sink, and is a misogynist who is also obsessed with Xander Harris, and has a delusional belief that the women of Team Angel and the Scoobies treat Xander badly. Twice, he has tried to sneak to Earth-92 to assault the women of both the teams, and both times, another Power That Be by the name of Slate has caught him, and given him a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown for what he was attempting to do. The second time, he has even called Dushan a fraud and come close to killing him, with another Power That Be called Adila verbally roasting Dushan too.
The Skrulls finally being exposed and defeated after the entire mess they made, and then Ross facing the consequences of his actions.
Art the Clown slaughters many people across The Multiverse after Be'lakor breaks him out, including brutally injuring Do Hyun-jin, Ma Seok-do, Seong Gi-hun, Peter Sutherland, John Reese, Sameen Shaw and Sam Clarke. So when Buddha arrives and gives him a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown which doubles as a Curb-Stomp Battle, it is nothing short of glorious. Even when he turns into an Eldritch Abomination, Art is unable to do much, and gets dragged back to Hell, then returned to Spawn.
Can be seen as this for Oliver Queen, as he regains his backbone, company and fighting skills, and finds a balance between his old approach and his new one.
The Earth-1 Hawks are written differently from canon, with Kendra being more assertive and accepting of her destiny, while Carter isn't possessive of her.
Earth-1 Superman is not broody at all, and much more like the classical versions of the character.
Juggernaut becomes much more like his comic-book counterpart due to the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, going toe-to-toe with Hulk finally.
MCU Odin is much more powerful than his canonical self, being closer in power to his comics counterpart, and he is not out yet, fighting and kicking ass even when he is past his prime, just like in the comics. His Establishing Character Moment is him fighting and defeating the Singularity after a long and hard fight.
Earth-1 Michael Myers, who is the version from theCurseTrilogy, is freed from the Curse of Thorn by Gibb Smith........and continues to attack the Heroes even after that, proving he is still pure evil. John Carpenter had envisioned Michael Myers as a force of nature, a being of pure evil, without any concrete and discernible motive like trauma or revenge, so this series is Revisiting the Roots regarding Michael Myers, doing away with the convoluted and controversial Curse storyline.
The Viltrumite Agron killing multiple people? Horrifying! Him flying through a logo of The CW to crash it on people and kill them? Funny in a dark way.
The Young Legends team have teamed up a total of two in Heroes coming together but both team-ups were enjoyed massively, especially the interactions between all characters. Also helps that many of them are famous characters in their own right, so seeing them as a team together is something enjoyed by many.
Lord Krishna appeared briefly but was liked a lot as he revealed himself to be a form of the true God, and killed Zachariah and Uriel, called out Chuck Shurley for pretending to be God, plus revealed that there is actual free will as whatever anyone chooses to do ultimately benefits the Grand Plan, and he also adds that good and evil must exist in a balance but when evil is more, a culling is needed.
Genius Bonus: During Castiel'sNo-Holds-Barred Beatdown of Chuck Shurley, the author says to play the song Prayer by the band Disturbed. The song is about a person taking everything a jerkass god throws at them and telling the jerkass god to do his worst. Chuck Shurley himself is a jerkass (if fake) god, and now he has been defeated at last, so it can be inferred that Sam, Dean and Castiel have taken his worst, and have now won, and that's what the song signifies.
Jerkass Woobie: Zoom easily. He is a horrible person obviously, and he deserved to have his plans blow up in his face. But the number of times he has been brutally beaten up in this story or just verbally trashed might actually make one feel a little bit bad for him.
Earth-192 Eiling crosses it a bunch of times. First, when Earth-8096 Banner calls him out, Eiling whacks him away through a building. Until now, Eiling has no idea that Banner is actually Hulk, so for all he knew, he hit a human, right after claiming that he was trying to protect humans from meta-humans. Then, during his fight with Hulk, Eiling throws a car at the other people in the area too, again showing that he does not follow his own words.
Fantastic Four (reluctantly in their case, except Johnny Storm imposter), Talos, who replaced Tony, and Skrull imposters of Rhodes and Sharon attacking Krakoa and taking in Mutant kids who did nothing wrong is this Trope for them.
Curtis being killed by Chucky vomiting alcohol on his bare feet while he is touching a power unit, electrocuting him to death. It is cheesy and darkly funny at the same time.
Iris gets slapped by both Lois and Lana, turning her head either way. The scene is a Wake-Up Call for Iris due to her selfish behavior, but it is pretty funny because of the Bitch Slap.
Naruto falling down in embarrassment when Goku asks if 'Shinobi' is some kind of food, and later all the Young Legends having the same reaction when Goku asks if 'Hokage' is some kind of food.
Naruto using the 'Leaf Village Secret Finger Jutsu: Thousand Years of Death' on Young Xehanort. Considering what that move consists of, this was always going to be the result. Even the other Young Legends turn away briefly at the sight.
The reveal that the Voice reaching out the Horror Icons was Lucifer from Supernatural.
The meeting and team-up between the Earth-192 Justice League and Earth-8096 Avengers, after which they battle Brainiac-Lex of the former's Earth and Ultron of the latter's Earth.
Champions & Wars:
The scene where all the Horror Icons and everyone else working under Earth-205 Lucifer come together at last.
Iris West gets a Bitch Slap from Lois and Lana each for being so selfish and whining about how Barry will never be hers at a time when the lives of children are at stake.
And later, Grimlock fights and kills certain characters from the worlds of The Wheel of Time (2021), Avatar: The Last Airbender (2024), then the original design of Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog (Film Series), after which he kills characters from the world of Super Mario Bros. (1993), then the characters from a world where both Charmed (2018) and Catwoman (2004) exist, and finally, he kills the Batman from the world of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. After that, he meets Earth-167 Clark Kent, who is a Variant of Earth-21 Clark Kent/Superman. Grimlock gives Earth-167 Clark Kent a What the Hell, Hero? and “The Reason You Suck” Speech for retiring while Lex Luthor is President, even though Jonathan Kent had died protecting him, because the world needed him. Then, after a good fight, Grimlock defeats Earth-167 Clark too. In all cases, the other characters attack Grimlock first, so its self-defense. Reactions to the aforementioned franchises, films or characters (or a certain character design, in Sonic's case) have been pretty negative too, with the exception of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. However, there are people who see that version of Batman as a toxic jerk, and believe that the original comic became the blueprint for the toxic, abusive and mission-obsessed Batman who became prominent in comics and other media later. Meanwhile, people were baffled on seeing that Earth-167 Clark is retired in Crisis on Infinite Earths (2019) even though Lex is President, and he barely reacts on hearing that The Multiverse is in danger. A lot of things in the scene completely contradict what happened in Smallville, which is why this version of Clark gets called out by Grimlock for his actions, and this Earth is not even the canonical Smallville Earth in this series, just a variation of it.
The fic Winds of War and Ruin does this too, with Grimgor Ironhide killing Planetos-2, which houses a version of Game of Thrones where Season 8 is ongoing, and also the world of Jack Reacher (2012), and these worlds are revealed to be the creation of the Imp- SCP-343, who is in a God Guise, making these worlds "non-canon" as well. Grimgor proceeds to kill SCP-343 too.
