  • Catharsis Factor:
    • The landowner being killed by Regina is completely satisfying after everything Miguel and the gang had to go through because of his pettiness and Lack of Empathy.
    • After gloating about her initial success in her plans and almost getting away with it, Regina finally gets her comeuppance when Lilí turns the tables on her by having her confess that she had murdered her own father and framed Lilí for it, while having it recorded, and revealing that Miguel, Lucas and Inés faked their deaths after being tipped off by Ximena about Regina's trap, even throwing back in her face what she had said to her before leaving Lilí in the interrogation room to supposedly take the heat for her crime. Seeing Regina's plan spetacularly falling apart is more than a big relief for all the bad things she's done and harming the heroes on more than one ocassion.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Citlali is always nicknamed "the Little Mermaid" by Lilí because of her abilities as a diver. It's even more hilarious since this show came out almost a year after the release of Disney's live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid (2023), in which Halle Bailey starred as the titular character. Even better, her actress Andrea Chaparro is black, too.
  • Jerks Are Worse Than Villains: The Burnt Face man and Regina are found entertaining and interesting for their different personalities and personal feuds against Miguel and Lilí respectively, even their own backstories on why they are after them. However, the landowner is absolutely loathed for his obsession of killing Miguel, not only for sleeping with his wife, but also for stealing his valuable cross that he needed to start the search on the diamond. He also threatened Miguel's father at gunpoint when he started question everyone on the treasure's whereabouts, not even caring that he was ill and calling him an "old man". Good thing Regina finished him off.
  • Just Here for Godzilla: Most of the viewers only watch the show to enjoy the amazing performance of Ester Expósito and her iconic one-liners, being her first high-profile TV project since her breakthrough in Elite.
  • Moral Event Horizon: Regina crosses it when she orders her henchmen to kill Miguel and his gang by sinking their ship. Before this, Regina had promised to release Alex, Inés' son, whom she kidnapped, in exchange for the Tear Fire diamond. However, after the demands are met, Regina goes back on her word and orders Mano to kill him first along with Miguel's gang, which he ultimately refuses to do. Regina is also revealed to have murdered her own father out of entitled jealousy for his closeness to Lilí and choosing her as the heiress to his entire fortune.
  • Take That, Scrappy!: Regina killing the landowner, who had nothing but attempting to kill Miguel several times just because he slept with his wife.
