  • Awesome Moments: This series involves the ragdolls actually trying to fight back against the player torturing them for videos. Notably, the RED Scout using the items in "Discarded" to create his own toolgun. And even when "Revelation" shows he paid the price big time, he ultimately succeeded in making it, only missing the screen. The second RED Scout puts it to good use in the Grand Finale, where he uses it to delete Badwater and take over his game.
  • Alternative Character Interpretation: Whether the player is truly sadistic, or if they are just misunderstanding their power over the sentient ragdolls is one of the larger questions about the story. As the series progresses, all signs point to the former.
  • Common Knowledge: Similarly to its inspiration, this series has erroneously been seen as an Alternate Reality Game by many viewers due to the wording used by YouTubers who have reviewed it. The series itself has no audience participation in its story at all, with the only exception being the "Questions and Answers" video, and even then, there was no audience game or puzzle involved.
  • Funny Moments: Despite being a horror series, some videos capture the Surreal Humor common to early 2010's Garry's Mod machinima quite well.
    • The Teethineer comes off as a Butt-Monkey constantly subject to Amusing Injuries, with various videos have him getting himself blown up by his own weapons. If it wasn't for the Fridge Horror that comes from it, it would be right at home with similar old-school machinima.
    • Though it gets played out to a horrifying conclusion, the premise of "Melonman VS The Teethineer" is genuinely funny: Melonman is unable to stop the Teethineer with one of his Melon Bombs because he is surrounded by conspicuously placed Explosive Barrels. After carefully thinking it through, he figures out the solution: Just punch him.
    • In "How I Make GMOD Machinimas Tutorial", the player briefly gets frustrated over accidentally moving the sawblades, seemingly breaking character over them.
    • "Metalhead's Final Straw" has Melonman and the Teethineer engage in a long-winded Trash Talk argument until the Scout just knocks the latter out cold with a metal pipe for long enough that, by the time he wakes up, it's nighttime. The Teethineer reacts with a mildly irritated "Darn".
  • Nightmare Fuel: Has its own page.
  • Tear Jerker: "Revelation" features the prespective of a second RED Scout going into gm_construct's dark room only to find the first in disfigured, mutilated state while being unable to respond. While horrified by the latter's state, the former slowly grabs a tool gun and puts him out of his own misery by deleting him for good.
