- Accidental Innuendo: In the end of "Starting From Hatch", when Huey is reunited with his real mother after spending most of the short with a hungry fox that he think is his mom, he says "I'm a luckiest duck in the world! I've got TWO mommies!" which has different connotations to modern viewers.
- Common Knowledge: Film Roman never worked on The Baby Huey Show. Season 2 was actually produced by Universal Cartoon Studios, who was also doing The Spooktacular New Adventures of Casper at the time. The sources which claimed Roman's involvement were likely confused by some of Huey's episodes having been recycled for Richie Rich (1996), which actually was produced by Film Roman.
- Designated Hero: Huey, at least in some stories. He is, after all, basically just a big baby who always has to have his way, so he ends up causing a lot of trouble for sympathetic characters as well as villains.
- Seasonal Rot: The Baby Huey Show was originally animated by Carbunkle Cartoons and was one of the rare shows to capture the exact same flair as The Ren & Stimpy Show. Season 2 saw animation being done at Universal Animation Studios which dropped a lot of the bizarre and chaotic charm. In addition to Sid Raymond being replaced by Joe Alaskey as the titular duck given the only reason he came back to start with? Was at the insistence of Bob Jacques, as management hated him.
