- Special Effects Failure: The greenscreen shots in the film stand out as particularly shoddy. It was likely a cost cutting measure when they couldn't film in, say, a desert, but it leads to very obvious and awkward staging to keep the actors in front of the green screen.
- In the films climactic sequence in, ahem, "Santiago, Chile", the film's action is clearly taking place at the Mount Killington Ski Resort that was seen in Icebreaker. To the point that a number of shots are actually recycled Stock Footage from Icebreaker and in at least one shot even shows the characters from that movie in focus.
- All of the signs for locations in the movie have been done over with a very floaty CGI effect, such as the "Valmart" logo, to cover up the lack of budget. Particularly hilarious when this includes the Icebreaker footage and stock footage from that movie suddenly has floating CGI Spanish signs to cover up all the English.
