- Disc-One Nuke: The NKVD knife found at the dropsite crashed helicopter does decent damage, only costs 2 AP per attack and only need 55 in melee weapons to use. It can rapidly stab through the early game when you're fighting small animals and bandits with zip guns and will save you a ton of ammo when ammunition is scarse. It's usefulness falls off once the bandits get better armor and the animals and mutants become much more dangerous in melee.
- Surprisingly Improved Sequel: The first game is a perfectly competent love letter to the first two Fallout games. However, common complaints with the game were the long stretches of backtracking, a rather dull color palette, somewhat amateurish at times writing, inconsistent art as many portraits were photographs rather than drawn, and sections of extremely high difficulty that required a lot of savescumming to keep your party members alive. The sequel Trudograd however eliminates a lot of the backtracking purely by making the world much smaller, the winter aesthetic was very well-received, the narrative and character writing were substantially improved, and while some thought they took the criticism on the first game's difficulty a little too far and now made a game that was too easy, it was also much less frustrating.
