  • Only the Creator Does It Right: The final entries of the series, Asuka 120% BURNING Fest. Final and Return for PlayStation and PC respectively, were developed by Success after Fill-in-Café filed for bankruptcy, and fans consider Final and Return a step back from Limited in terms of gameplay mechanics and overall balance despite being updated versions of the latter.
  • Polished Port: Asuka 120% BURNING Fest. Limited on the Sega Saturn has been widely considered by fans as the best iteration of the Asuka 120% series. It boasts huge graphical improvements with better looking backgrounds and larger hand-drawn sprites, smoother animation, the remixed CD-quality music from the PC Engine version, all of the characters from Special, and refined gameplay mechanics.
  • Sweet Dreams Fuel: The whole franchise boils down to the trope, with its many elements such as its uplifting and amazing background music, the character designs and voices, to how the game feels, being an absolute delight to play, see and hear. In fact, this is one of the few fighting games to go in this direction.
