- Broken Aesop: The moral of "Meek for a Week" is that Francine has to be rude in order to express her feelings, but other episodes (such as "Draw!") have morals about how you shouldn't be rude.
- Informed Wrongness: Francine's friends are supposed to be wrong for telling her to be polite. While the way Francine chose to attempt politeness (by suppressing her feelings) was wrong, she could have just expressed her feelings in a nicer way, and some of her mean actions were more than just expressing her feelings; they were just plain insulting (for instance, she repeatedly said, "Can't you do anything right?" when someone messed up).
