  • Alternate Character Interpretation: Is Hades Affably Evil or Faux Affably Evil? When he gives comfort to Hunter and the Gillman it could come across as Evil Gloating or a sincere case of Nothing Personal. Even if it is sincere it could be a case of Even Evil Has Loved Ones since he refers to the Gillman as "Old Friend," and might feel bad about killing Hunter simply because of their connection. This is even further confused in Hell on Earth, where he seems to actually believe that human souls should think eternal torture is preferably to non-existence, and admits that he'd be willing to let the few remaining humans have the Earth back if Amanet would let him (although he claims the latter is only because It Amused Me). He seems to be drifting rapidly into Blue-and-Orange Morality territory.
  • The Woobie: Gwen Conelth goes through this hard in her appearances. When she's bitten and turns in The Wolfman, she's ecstatic about her new powers, but the relentless traumas she goes through, including losing Larry in The Mummy's Hand, being manipulated into killing her entire family in A Native American Werewolf in Paris and losing Frankenstein in Van Helsing leave her broken by the time of her death in Death's Door.
  • Unexpected Character: Several, including characters from movies who are merely monster-adjacent like Jaws 1 and Darkman, but the crown jewel has to be Scott Pilgrim somehow finding a place in the Dark Universe.
