The following morning, she finds out all of her powers belonged to the world's superheroes and villains, and many of them were either disfigured or died in accidents after they lost their abilities. She never finds out why this happened to her specifically, and many people believe she somehow "stole" everyone's powers to the point she briefly gets arrested for manslaughter.
