YMMV / Adventures in Dinosaur City

• No Problem with Licensed Games: The SNES platformer Dino City was based on this film. The film is generally felt to be subpar and uninteresting, while the game is held up as an above-average 2D platformer, and one of the better games in Irem's catalog.
• Viewer Species Confusion: Mr. Big is frequently called an Allosaurus, including by himself, but he has a nose horn like a Ceratosaurus.
• Tear Jerker: For such a light-hearted comedy, what became of Rex's father King is rather dark. First, he was tricked into drinking a mind-controlling potion by the Big Bad. Who then not only forced him to put on a show of surrendering Saur City. He's then imprisoned for years, clearly being held in terrible conditions.
