- Cult Classic: This album is written off as one of Pink Floyd's weaker albums and the start of their Audience-Alienating Era due to the band losing Syd Barrett during production, yet it's still regarded as an underrated classic from more dedicated Floyd fans due to it being where the band started transitioning from Psychedelic Rock to Progressive Rock. It helps that "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" and the title track were concert staples in the late 60s and early 70s and that, 50 years later, Nick Mason would start a band named Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets to play Pink Floyd's early songs.
