• Base-Breaking Character: Is Slo's inability to talk fast funny, or just downright annoying?
• Broken Base:
  • Should the franchise have gone back to its childlike roots with this show, or should the newest installment in the franchise had been more like the 2012 version without being a direct continuation of it?
  • Furthermore, does this show do a good job carrying the legacy of the 2009 series and what the franchise was always known for at a certain point, or does it fail to do that due to being too childish?
  • Did they make a good call making this one an All-CGI Cartoon, or should it have stuck to a 2D style?
• Moe: As always, the designs of the Ridiculously Cute Critters are adorable. To some however, the 3D animation borders right onto Accidental Nightmare Fuel.
• Older Than They Think: The sudden change from straight-up Gag Dub to Preschool Show might seem odd at first, but the people who grew up with the 2012 version often seem to forget that the 2009 show always did have a more preschool angle. If anything, Rescue is just the franchise going back to its roots, for better or worse.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: The general reaction to the show from fans of the 2012 version, which was full of wacky, fourth-wall breaking absurdist — sometimes even sadist humor, from the brains of the same dude that created Cow and Chicken. Meanwhile, this show is an attempt to bring the franchise back to its childlike roots and is essentially a Spiritual Successor to PAW Patrol. It was gonna turn some fans away.
