• Aluminum Christmas Trees: Listeners in Europe commonly assumed that Domingo de Santa Clara was made up by the band for the song "Domingo", given the mystical description of him in the lyrics and the band's other eccentricities. However, Dieter Meier confirmed in a 1985 interview with Vinyl magazine that he was a real person, specifically a notoriously bizarre Augustinian monk named Abraham a Sancta Clara. The Domingo title (taken from the Spanish word for Sunday) was tacked on purely because Meier liked the word.

• Song Association:
  • "Oh Yeah" is best known for its use in Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Secret of My Success (and the many, many other films, shows and advertisements paying homage to it) during the scene where Cameron shows Ferris his father's prized vintage Ferrari.
  • Gran Turismo 4 players may know it as the song that plays when failing a License Test. Or alternatively, the de facto theme song of IA-15 and Mission 34.
