  • Funny Moments:
    • If you explore Yatarou's parents' room, you'll find a diary from Yatarou's mom. It consists of nothing, but cat puns and references to magical girls. Once you finish reading it, Yatarou's only comment is, "I'm sure Mom would like to forget that part of her past."
    • On Day 3, there's a dialogue option for Yatarou when he is asked to try the crane game. He can choose to just agree to it without a problem or he can say that Honoka has to pay for his turn. She reluctantly agrees to it.
  • Les Yay: Honoka seems more than willing to blame Yatarou for flirting with Hinata when it was the other way around. They're also drawn as "The Lovers" in the official Charon Tarot card set, and go on a date in the 2018 version of Fake World's End.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Both of the True Ends. While Hinata and Honoka's Yandere natures have been building up for most of the game, the sudden dark endings come as a surprise to some of the players. Cinderella's Darkness has Hinata mutilate Honoka and hang her presumably on a curtain rack, and then proceed to cut off Yatarou's arms and legs while Trembling has Honoka kill Hinata with a pair of scissors, and then very tightly tie Yatarou up in rope and use the same pair of scissors to CASTRATE HIM.
  • The Woobie: Yatarou grew up with two girls, both who had feelings for him. One day, one of them moved away to another city. He fell into a state of depression and cut himself off from his other friend. It's implied that he never talked about his experience with anyone, which put a strain on his relationship with his remaining friend. He earns this title because of all the crap he goes through in the True Ends: being pursued by two Yandere girls, having his limbs hacked off, being stabbed with a katana, having genitals sniped off, etc.
