• Iron Woobie: After several levels in kindness and a Heel–Face Turn, Nictis/Meadow has actually become a genuinely good being. This is when things turn really bad for the Infiltrator. Nictis loses his cover as Meadow including Spark's love and becomes a wanted fugitive. He stays tough, and perseveres.
• Jerkass Woobie: Meadow Song is by pony — even human — standards a rather despicable person during much of the story. But you can't help but feel sorry for her, especially when the worst pain is dealt to her because she's genuinely learned to love.
