- Harsher in Hindsight: The opening story, "Pasternak", where the eponymous guy has all the people who wronged him in the past board the same plane and then crashes it on his parents' house, is a glorious moment of Black Comedy. When the co-pilot of an Airbus A320, once treated for depression, locks his captain out of the cockpit and takes a deadly descent straight into the French Alps with 149 passengers, it's significantly less amusing.
- Nightmare Fuel:
- The end of the third story The Strongest with the ghastly zoom-in on Mario’s and Diego’s open-mouthed skulls. Complete with droning violin music.
