YMMV / Watch Girls Play

Go To

  • Accidental Innuendo: Molly gives us one in Girls Play - Alien: Isolation - 7
Molly: He can climb in the hole behind you and he will eat you there.
  • Crosses the Line Twice: Andrea at least Once an Episode, though the other gals can get in on it, too.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: While playing Five Nights at Freddy's, Molly said she would bring a Freddy disguise to try to fool the animatronics. Come the sequel, and the player does just that.
    • Early in Neverending Nightmares, Renae observes the main character's somewhat obsessive relationship with his sister and jokingly asks "Is this a Lannister thing?" In the "Final Descent" ending of the game, said main character awakens to find himself married to his "sister," though they're supposedly not actually related in this ending. Drea, who actually found this ending during the playthrough, is nonetheless suitably disgusted.
  • Les Yay: All the girls to some degree, though Mariya and Renae seem to like doing it the most. Done only because it is popular and requested by the male viewers.
  • Memetic Mutation: While the "memes" spun off from the channel has not reached anywhere outside of the channel itself, most of the jokes the girls and the fans say stem from past streams or videos.
    • One such meme is "cucumbers and ass play", in which during the Heavy Rain livestream, Renae said something regarding ass play during a sex scene and then proceeded to delve into great detail about the subject, with a cucumber somehow making its way into the spiel.
  • Replacement Scrappy: Any girl brought in to replace a departing girl usually gets hit with this. The worst case was probably towards Mars replacing the heavy fan-favorite Renae.
  • Squick: The unanimous reaction the girls have to watching the cutscene after the boss scene in Typing of the Dead - Girls Play - 2
    • Their 34th reaction video elicited this in spades from the girls - especially Sydney, Mars, Mariya and Stephanie.
