Wesley Blake

  • The Woobie: Perhaps has one of the worst streaks of luck in WWE history, which would be even worse because nothing bad that happened to him in WWE was his fault. Initially joining the main roster along with the Forgotten Sons and getting a lot of momentum behind them, even to the extent that they were rumored to win the tag titles, stablemate's Jaxson Ryker's controversial social media antics would cause the group to lose their push and for them to eventually disband. Him and his other stablemate in Steve Cutler would be given a second chance as Baron Corbin's lackeys, but Cutler's recklessness would cost him his job, and the storyline would be dropped once more, leaving Wesley again without a storyline, and was soon released soon after. To add onto that, a year after his release, his wife would unexpectedly pass away.

Apollo Crews

  • Adorkable: He doesn't seem to do it much anymore, but during debut on NXT Takeover Brooklyn, he was just precious. Wrestling on a major WWE stage in front of seemingly untold thousands will have that effect on a positive young man.
  • Base-Breaking Character: Either he can get by on just his incredible athleticism alone, or he's just a bland and milquetoast babyface who needs to go away and not come back until he's given an actual character. It got worse after he was promoted to the main roster after less than a year in NXT, where he fell into the exact same status (and it didn't help that Finn Bálor, Bayley, Samoa Joe, and several other fan-favorites were still stuck in NXT at that time).
  • Growing the Beard: Began to be taken seriously as a competitor around the summer of 2020, resulting in him winning the United States title. Coincidentally (or maybe not) this slight bump up the card was accompanied by an increase in actual facial hair.
  • Memetic Mutation: Apollo Creed.note

James Ellsworth

  • Base-Breaking Character: Was largely liked even as a heel until the 2017 Money in the Bank event. After helping Carmella become the inaugural Miss Money in the Bank, fans either despise him and think of him as an annoying side character while other consider Ellsworth a genius way of generating enormous heel heat.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Went from being a one-off jobber on RAW to a fully-contracted wrestler thanks to fan popularity.

Drew Gulak

  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Widely considered to be one of the most entertaining members of the Cruiserweight division thanks to his amusing gimmick, strong in-ring ability, and great comedic timing.
  • Memetic Mutation: His Powerpoint presentations.

Dio Maddin/Mace

  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Maddin's popularity online and his association with the Super Best Friends has lead to many fans who were introduced to him from there being excited to see him join the TV roster.
  • Unexpected Character: Was suddenly thrown onto the 205 Live commentary team with Vic Joseph out of nowhere in September 2019 and just as unexpectedly appeared on the RAW team a few weeks later after the move from Smackdown to FOX Sports resulted in a commentary shakeup.

TJ Perkins (TJP)

  • Estrogen Brigade: Between his looks, wit, and being an extremely engaging and active user of social media, he built support from female fans rather quickly.
  • Memetic Mutation: TJ is the real-life Little Mac.note

Mojo Rawley

  • The Scrappy: Smark fans can't stand him and casual fans probably couldn't care less either.

Solo Sikoa

  • Americans Hate Tingle: For some reason, Solo is absolutely reviled in South Korea, with him topping the lists of worst wrestlers and worst feuds.
