- Fair for Its Day: Actually averted in the best way. The original Chicago by Night had numerous nonstereotypical black, female, homosexual, and bisexual characters in it despite being published in 1991. Arguably, it contained more of these than the entire sum of roleplaying games up until that point (discarding the Forgotten Realms).
