• Ensemble Dark Horse: In CCW, in heavy contrast to veterans Katey Harvey and Kazza, Valkyrie became quite popular after only two matches and was soon pushed in a long-running feud with Raven Creed.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The comparisons between her and Aliyah became this when Aliyah was her first opponent upon arriving at NXT.
• Moe: She was eighteen when she first debuted but looked very youthful, making her a Cute Bruiser.
• Narm Charm: The shoulder pads she wears on NXT should look ridiculous, but she makes them work.
• Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: Forming the Woke Queens with Debbie Keitel was seen as a breath of fresh air to those who had gotten bored of her heel work. Much like Michelle McCool in LayCool, it was found that Valkyrie was better suited to playing a hammy heel than a serious one.
• They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Many wish that Valkyrie would go back to playing a Genki Girl face as opposed to her dark heel work.
