  • Awesome Music: A copious source, though Heresie seems to be their most acclaimed studio album. Uzed has just as high a rating on Prog Archives as of this writing, for what that's worth, with the self-titled debut and Crawling Wind not too far behind. Their highest rated album on PA is actually the live album Relaps, interestingly, though it has far fewer ratings than their studio work (36 as opposed to around 100-300 for most of the studio albums). Ceux du dehors is also quite excellent. In any case, it's difficult for fans of dark progressive rock to go wrong with any of their music.
  • Even Better Sequel: Heresie is usually considered an example of this when compared to their debut.
  • Fridge Logic: Their title Uzed would qualify as an example for American English speakers, since the letter "z" is pronounced "zee" rather than "zed" there. Still, say it out loud with a British accent and you'll get the idea.
  • Nightmare Fuel: Take your pick, but Heresie seems to be the most universally agreed upon choice (just look at the many references to how terrifying it is on the main page). "La Faulx" and "Jack the Ripper" stand out as particularly nightmarish pieces, with "Vous le saurez en temps voulu" being very slightly less so. Still, listening to their music before bedtime is a bad idea.
