• Adaptation Displacement: Many people forgot that Cătunescu used to work as a field reporter for the satirical show Cronica Cârcotașilor ("The Nagger's Chronicles") and that the original Unguru' Bulan series was also on Cronica Cârcotașilor.
  • Some fans know only the animated Luzării series, but not the main audio clips.
• Broken Base: The animated Luzării series was pretty divisive. Some fans liked it just fine while others claimed that it wasn't funny.
• Epileptic Tree: One theory that circulates around is that Frătzică is actually C8ilu's dad.
  • Not too epileptic however, given that in one audio episode Frătzică himself admitted this to be true. But the series does have Negative Continuity, so it's unclear whether this applies to the series as a whole or not.
• Fandom Rivalry: With Robotzi because both are animated Youtube series made in Romania.
• Fanon Discontinuity: Some fans still refuse to acknowledge the Luzării series.
• Older Than They Think: The original Unguru' Bulan series was on Cronica Cârcotașilor, where Cătunescu used to work as a field reporter.
• Values Dissonance: A few early episodes, especially Gayfest 2007, which features an unironic narrator, can be interpreted as homophobic. Lessens over time, especially in the Gay vs. Becali TV episode, where Gigi Becali's homophobic views are mocked.
• Vindicated by History: The Luzării series was not well received by fans many seeing it as unfunny especially compared to the main audio series. As time went by however it got more and more popularity to the point of replacing the audio clips as the main series

• What Do You Mean, It's Not Political?: Wordof God confirmed that Frigata ("The Frigate") was not meant to be a political episode.
