So Okay, It's Average: While Troll is generally not a well-regarded film, nor is it seen as outlandishly bad either. Even with the Harry Potter thing, it's likely the film would be completely overlooked today if it wasn't for a legendarily terrible movie being artificially branded as a sequel to it.
