- Ass Pull: Tracks, Warpath, Sunstreaker and Powerglide showing up at the movie set despite Hoist never contacting anyone at base to tell them what was going on.
- Jerkass Woobie: We all know Starscream is an utter jerk who has betrayed Megatron countless of times and is certainly not a sympathetic character per see. However, the seeker's abuse in this episode is surprisingly extreme and even somewhat unwarranted. Megatron is notably more abusive than usual, hitting him just because he snarked at him, blaming him for Dirge's failure, and even ripping his vocal components just for a fairly small oversight he had no way to know. Even the fellow Decepticons, who usually hate Starscream's guts, are visibly horrified by the treatment he gets this time around. And to make things worse, at the end of the episode is revealed Starscream was totally right about Wheeljack's machine not working and being entirely worthless. While Starscream might have earned a lot of the scorn for all his treacherous tendencies and being an utter dick, you can't help but feel at least a little bit sorry for him for getting abuse mostly for things he had no input in it.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Heh heh heh heh...
- The Princess Leia Expy is played by Susan Blu, who would later play Arcee, a Cybertronian Leia Expy.
