Opinions vary on WWE's handling of the incident note  from "What Titus did was stupid and he got what he deserved," through "What Titus did was stupid, but Vince completely overreacted" to people who thought Titus should quit outright because Vince's reaction was so egregious (a notable example of someone holding this view being one Dave Bautista), to people implying that an offender on a higher spot on the card - or an offender with a different skin color - wouldn't have been handled that way.
