Works in this anthology with their own YMMV pages:

  • Dragonbored
  • Dragged In
  • Darkside of the Internet

  • Ensemble Dark Horse: The Webmaster. Combined with Nash pulling a He Really Can Act moment, fans have taken to him well.
  • The Scrappy: The Meditation Guy, for his reedy voice, being the standard New Age Take That!, and always interrupting The Webmaster's cool moments. It even became a Creator's Pest for Rob after the series' release. Luckily, Diamanda Hagan made him, Nash and the Critic explode, and watched them burn in hell for a while before reversing time.
  • Tough Act to Follow: Coming after To Boldly Flee didn't help it in the eyes of many. Unlike the anniversaries that got higher ratings for everyone and plenty of fan talking for months after, everything in this special (excepting "Dark Side Of The Internet") quickly fell off the radar of interest.
    • And in a beautiful moment of self-destruction, the anniversary week ended with the site putting up To Boldly Flee's making-of-feature, which has the added bonus of Doug being shyly proud of giving The Nostalgia Critic such a good send-off. Rob also mentioned in an interview later that they weren't planning on doing a yearly, but Michaud told him in January to pander to the fanbase.
    • Unlike the To Boldly Flee DVD, where you could pre-order while it was still going on, The Uncanny Valley's DVD took a little under a year to come out. Even people who enjoyed the series had forgotten it by that point.
    • In his review, Critic gets the Jerkass Has a Point stick, calling To Boldly Flee “the most viewed, most expensive and the most effort put into it” special and Uncanny Valley Doug's “fuck off I'm tired and I've got nothing else to offer” follow up.
