The Twist That Will Never Happen

Go To

  • Harsher in Hindsight: Hoo boy. The entire comic became this once the movie was premiered, with a few notable examples being the wild west setting turning out to be a complete simulation and the Wren himself being more of a violent sociopath in the movie proper.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Despite the comic being a Shallow Parody, it does get some things right about the movie. For example: a "Wren" turning out to be the main antagonist, Meggy having more of a focus in the movie and being the one to stop "Wren" (alongside Mario and Tari as well).
  • Shallow Parody: The entire comic doesn't cover many of the main events within the movie itself due to it being made only a few hours before its premiere, which is pretty evident in its "plot" as well as overall structure (lack of characters such as Bob or Boopkins as well as important elements in Western Spaghetti).
