  • Due to Steve being played by Randall Park, loads of comments on the scene on YouTube have referenced Jimmy Woo or WandaVision in some way.
  • Then the scene turned into an Ascended Meme in a 2024 Super Bowl commercial for the John Krasinski-directed movie IF which started out with Park claiming to be Krasinski, much to the puzzlement of the film's star Ryan Reynolds. Krasinski then leaned into the meme even more by temporarily replacing his profile picture on Facebook with one of Park.
• Retroactive Recognition: Randall Park appeared in this episode just before he achieved mainstream success. For him, it was just a quick paying gig and he was shocked to learn how memorable it's considered among the Office fandom.
