  • Awesome Music: Myuuji's Reversion (a slow, tragic piano peice), Something's Wrong (a rather more frenetic piece that communicates a sense of danger), Scent of Night (a slow, furtive peice that indicates something's subtly wrong), and, every so often, Nebula (the big gun, an achingly slow, agonizingly tense piece that lets the listener know that they've crossed the Outer Limits and are now fully in the Twilight Zone) add some wonderful atmosphere. Home (what happens when Myuu uses his powers for good), is used for hope spots, when a protagonist earns their happy ending or to underscore a ghost's tragic backstory.
  • Broken Base: Mr. Creepy Pasta's readings of less Creepypasta stories and more towards indie writers, specifically towards his friend Vincent V. Cava. This has not gone well for his fans. One can take however that MCP started doing these after the infamous Slimebeast incident (see below)
    • Mr. Creepy Pasta hasn't read a lot of known creepypastas, however this could possibly due to the slow decline within Creepypasta Wikia, where most of the mods have been rather strict with many stories being uploaded there (as well as deleting original and So Bad, It's Good ones, causing them to be lost).
    • The infamous Slimebeast incident. To go into details without starting an argument, drama occurred between Mr. Creepy Pasta and Slimebeast when MCP began to start monetizing his readings, which upset Slimebeast as MCP had monetized readings of his stories (Two of the "Abandoned by Disney" stories, "Funnymouth", "Whimsywood", "Lost Episodes", and "I HATE YOU"). This resulted with MCP deleting the Slimebeast videos and flame wars went all about.
    • CreepsMcPasta's video where he accused David F. Sandberg of "stealing" an idea of his that became the Lights Out (2016). Can it be seen as actual proof or is CMP just being way too picky?
  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Several creepypasta narrators not known as MCP, CMP or even Creepy Pasta Jr. are this for fans, such as Dr. Creepen, King Spook, and even That Creepy Reading (despite TCR no longer doing creepypastas and dedicating his time to Let's Not Meet stories).
  • Follow the Leader: Everyone except Dr. Creepen and Scary Stories Told in the Dark uses Myuuji songs for their creepypasta storytimes now.
  • Harsher in Hindsight: MCP and Slimebeast's feud became this when Slimebeast released a document and leaked audio clips concerning MCP and his associates known as "Creepyleaks", the document exposed various controversial actions, such as discussion of MCP misusing YouTube's Content ID system. Although depending on who you ask, it tends to go into Hoist by His Own Petard as despite people agreeing with Slime, his responses to those who will agree with him but disagree with how he handles the situation led to him becoming a sort of pariah in the Creepypasta community.
    • The below-mentioned moments about Creeps becomes this when it was revealed that he had been grooming underaged fans, forcing many to distance themselves from him and Creeps's lack of response to it.
  • Heartwarming Moments: As a thanks to his fans who stood with him for years up to 900k subscribers on YouTube, Mr. Creepy Pasta dropped The Faceless trope and removed his mask at San Japan, much to the surprise of his fans there.
    • The fandom reaching out to Creeps when he was burglarized while at a con, even helping the Gofundme Mr. Creepy Pasta set up to help him!
      • The biggest shocker too? Creeps himself revealing himself after the immense donation and thanking the fans for everything they've done, and determined to use the money they donated to him (which he reluctantly accepts) for not only new equipment but security to set up at his home.
