  • Briefly touched on in a side story: a male model and his roommate have been getting women drunk and then raping them when they're unable to effectively say "no". It finally catches up with them when one of their victims goes to the police and reports it, after which their bragging gets caught on tape in an unrelated drugs investigation.
• The CSI Effect: Technology ITTL has advanced to the point by 2012 that rapid research and deduction in the time span of a one hour drama really doesn't seem that far fetched.
• Values Dissonance: Janine Frasier in the late 1990's has serious problems with ITTL America's blithe acceptance of popular nudism, Cos Play and several other customs too far out for her OTL 2012 sensibilities.
