• Genius Bonus: Mixy, the rabbit, is named after the rabbit-targeted disease myxomatosis.
• Jerkass Woobie: Joe in the Christmas Episode. He cooks a large, elaborate meal for all his friends, only for them to ditch him at the last minute. He pretends to be okay about it and claims he "didn't go to too much trouble", but the crestfallen look on his face and the fact his table is laden with all the food he prepared makes you feel a little sorry for him.
• What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: Comedic sociopathy is the order of the day, and the humour can get really dark. For example, the plot of one episode revolves around Modigliana getting a CAT scan (haha...) which indicates she has a deadly and inoperable brain tumor. She spends the whole episode convinced she is going to die, and imposing her last wishes on everyone around her. It's a prank by Rattus, who faked the results because convincing someone that they are terminally ill is exactly the sort of thing he thinks is funny.
